MEET THE DOCTORS
DR. Christine Brinley,
DDS, MS
Dr. Christine Brinley grew up in Collinsville, Illinois, where she graduated from Collinsville High School in 1997. She studied Biology at Southern Illinois University before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) with honors from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2005. Graduating near the top of her class, she received several academic awards for her excellence and dedication.
Following dental school, Dr. Brinley was accepted into one of the world’s most prestigious orthodontic programs at Saint Louis University. There, she completed her specialty training in orthodontics and earned a Master of Science in Dentistry in 2007.
Since then, Dr. Brinley has practiced orthodontics in the St. Louis area, where she’s been recognized for both her skill and generosity. She’s been featured on Fox 2 News, Y98, and in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for her community involvement and charitable work with children in need. Her research has been published in orthodontic and prosthodontic journals, and she has been named one of St. Louis Magazine’s Top Ten Dentists for several consecutive years.
Dr. Brinley is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Michal, their three children, and two dogs. She also loves biking the Madison County trails, traveling, and decorating.
Dr. Jaclyn Kostelac,
DDS, MS
Dr. Jaclyn Kostelac grew up in Belleville, Illinois, where she attended Althoff Catholic High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2007. She then went on to complete a Master of Science in Neurobiology at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.
After completing her graduate studies, Dr. Kostelac moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2014. Following dental school, she was accepted into the orthodontic residency program at Saint Louis University, where she completed 30 months of advanced training and earned both a specialty certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Kostelac is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation, and the California Dental Association. She has also successfully completed the written portion of the American Board of Orthodontics certification process.
Outside of her career, Dr. Kostelac enjoys living an active, balanced lifestyle. She loves spending time with family and friends, taking fitness classes, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling to new places.
